Rebound 5AB ActiveGrip drumsticks combine hickory with ProMark’s heat-activated ActiveGrip coating – the more you sweat, the better your grip gets. The long, tapering neck gives extra rebound, ideal if you play dynamically and want a relaxed grip even during the last, sweaty set of a gig.

Many drummers know the problem: grip fades as hands get sweaty, technique tightens up, and in the worst case the stick slips away. ActiveGrip solves this with a thin coating that activates with heat and sweat, without feeling like tape, gloves or rubberized grips. It stays out of the way until you need it most.

Rebound Balance – built for rebound

The Rebound 5AB has a long, tapering neck (3") that gives extra rebound, suited to dynamic playing with lots of bounce. That sets it apart from the Forward Balance models in the same series, which have a shorter neck (2.25") and a more front-heavy feel – more power and durability, less rebound.

Pitch- and weight-matched pairs

The Select Balance series is built to tight tolerances: max 1.5 grams weight difference and max 6 Hz pitch difference between the sticks in a pair, roughly a quarter tone. Even pitch between sticks matters for consistent-sounding rolls.

Part of a larger family
