ProMark Matt Strauss General Concert MS1
ProMark drumsticks, Matt Strauss signature model, made of American Persimmon. Long taper for rebound and full-bodied tone.
Product Description
The Matt Strauss General Concert drumstick from ProMark was developed together with Matthew Strauss, percussionist with the Houston Symphony. It's built as a versatile, general-use concert stick for the wide range of playing situations and repertoire he faces, made from American Persimmon wood.
American Persimmon is a preferred wood for concert applications thanks to its strength, weight and density properties. The stick features a long taper for a rebound feel, and a long, arrow-shaped tip that creates greater surface contact with the drumhead. The result is a full-bodied tone and greater ease when playing rolls.
All ProMark drumsticks are designed, engineered and manufactured in the USA at the company's Texas facility, under strict industry quality controls.
