Progressive Power MIDI

Product Description

Progressive Power MIDI is a MIDI pack of drum grooves and fills inspired by progressive metal, heavy rock and fusion, performed by Canadian virtuoso Ryan Van Poederooyen. It contains more than 400 individually played files and works with EZdrummer and Superior Drummer. A great fit if you want to build full song structures or spark new riff ideas within progressive metal.

Ryan Van Poederooyen is known from his tenure in the Devin Townsend Project and Ihsahn, with a rock-solid beat and the ability to seamlessly switch between unhinged sprees of speed, complex rhythmic mathematics, and delicately expressed fusion-tinged grooves. He's regarded as one of the consummate progressive drummers of the last decade.

The pack comprises 15 fundamentally different "songs" of grooves and fills, giving you a broad palette of eclectic drum parts. From sturdy, wrecking ball-like metal grooves to complexly textured, impelling drum work, all delivered with Ryan's flawless progressive finesse. The material is categorized by song structure parts (intro, verse, pre-chorus, bridge, chorus, etc.), making it useful both as a starting point for new riff ideas and as building blocks for full songs.
