Will this bag fit my drum?

The stated size of a gigbag refers to the drum size it's designed for, not the bag's own outer dimensions. If you have a 24" bass drum, choose a 24" bag. Room for lugs and hoops is already accounted for. The same applies to the depth measurement: it refers to the drum's depth, not the bag's.

How do I know my drum's size?

A drum's stated size refers to the shell diameter, measured at the outer edge without hoops and lugs. If unsure, remove a head and measure the shell directly. The same goes for depth: it's the shell's own height that counts, not the larger outer dimension once hoops and hardware are mounted.
