Profile Gigbag PDB-B22 for 22" Bastrumma - Black

Product Description

The Profile PDB-B22 is a gigbag for a 22" bass drum, made from durable Cordura with 15 mm padding to protect the drum during transport and touring. It features a front accessory pocket, carry handles and a removable shoulder strap, and fits drums with a depth up to 18".

Profile's gigbags are among the most affordable on the market. Thick padding protects your drum, the outer material resists moisture, the zippers are built to last tour after tour, and the handles are comfortable to carry. A genuinely good drum bag at a genuinely good price.

What the bag fits

This bag is sized for a 22" bass drum with a depth up to 18". Room for lugs and hoops is already accounted for in the measurements, so it's the drum's own size (shell diameter and depth) that determines the right bag. Not the bag's own outer dimensions.

Finding the right size

The size stated on a gigbag refers to the drum size that fits inside it, not the bag's own measurements. For a 22" bass drum with 18" depth, you choose a 22"x18" bag like this one. If you're unsure of your drum's size, measure the shell's diameter and depth at the outer edge, excluding lugs and hoops. That's the measurement that counts.

About Profile

Profile makes affordable gigbags for snare drums, rack toms, floor toms, bass drums, cymbals and hardware. Thick padding throughout, moisture-resistant outer material and sturdy zippers. Good quality at a good price.

Our Tips

• If your toms have large rim suspension mounts, consider sizing up on 8"-13" bags to avoid stress on the mount.
• Always measure the drum shell itself, not the protruding hoops or lugs, when determining the correct bag size.
