Profile Gig Bag PDB-T12 for 12" Hängpuka - Black

Product Description

Gig bag from Profile for 12" rack tom, made from durable Cordura with 15 mm padding that protects your drum tour after tour. It features a detachable shoulder strap, comfortable handles and an accessory pocket. Great quality at a great price.

Profile's drum bags are among the most affordable on the market. Thick padding protects your drum, the zippers are built to last year after year, and the outer material resists moisture. The handles are comfortable to carry, and the shoulder strap can be removed when you don't need it.

Choosing the right size

The size listed on the bag refers to the drum size it fits, not the bag's own dimensions. If you have a 12" rack tom, choose a 12" bag. Room for lugs and hoops is already factored in. If your tom has large RIMS-type mounts, it can be worth going one size up for diameters between 8" and 13", so the mount isn't stressed. The same applies to depth: it's the drum's shell depth that's listed, not the bag's.

Measuring your drum

A drum's stated size always refers to the shell's own diameter and depth, not the dimensions with hoops and lugs mounted. If you're unsure of your tom's size, remove a head and measure the shell's outer diameter and depth. A shell measuring 13" in diameter and 10" in depth is always a "13"x10"" drum, regardless of how large it becomes with hardware mounted.
