Meinl Sonic Energy Pro Double Mallet X-Large - Felt

Product Description

Professional double mallet from Meinl Sonic Energy with felt tips at both ends, made from sapele wood and 40.5 cm long. The mallet is designed to bring out a warm, full sound from singing bowls, letting you vary the tone depending on how you play.

Felt heads on both ends give a soft, rounded strike that highlights the bowl's fundamental tone rather than sharp overtones. The sapele wood shaft offers a stable, comfortable feel in the hand during longer sessions, for example during sound healing, meditation or yoga.

Why a double mallet?

A double-headed felt mallet gives you flexibility: you can use the same mallet both to draw out resonance along the rim and to strike the bowl with a soft, full attack, without switching tools.

Meinl's Singing Bowl mallets are available in several woods, head types and sizes. Choosing the right mallet for your bowl lets you control the tone character you get, brighter or darker, with more or less attack.
