The Remo Powerstroke 4 Coated Clear Dot is a two-ply drumhead built for players who want warm, focused tone with controlled sustain. The coated surface combined with the clear dot reinforcement adds durability against hard playing while keeping the sound full and warm.

Construction

The head is built with 2-plies of 7-mil Coated film with a 3-mil inlay ring under the dot. Bass drumheads in the same series instead use a 7.5-mil inlay ring, for those matching the whole kit.

Sound Character

Thanks to the two plies and the reinforcement ring, you get controlled sustain and focused attack – the tone sits in the midrange rather than in bright overtones, making the P4 Coated one of Remo's warmer-sounding options.
