Power Metal MIDI

Product Description

Power Metal MIDI from Toontrack is a MIDI pack with approximately 465 individually played grooves and fills inspired by power metal, spanning from the genre's classic late-'80s European era to today's more aggressive, thrash-influenced style. It's a great fit when you need fast, precise drum foundations with galloping beats and frenetic double bass for your own productions.

Strip any given power metal song down to the bare bones of the rhythm section and a few key elements emerge: speed, power, accuracy and extreme musical prowess. That's exactly what this collection of MIDI is all about. Think the likes of Helloween, Blind Guardian, Iced Earth, Sabaton and Dragonforce. Galloping beats, frenetic bass drums, rampant tempos and, of course, the odd crushing heavy groove, complete with fills and epic parts.

This collection is a full-circle compilation covering the fundamentals of the genre so far. From the classic late '80s European era that launched it, through the often more aggressive, thrash-influenced American style of the 1990s, right up to where power metal stands today: resurgent and vibrant.
