Session Studio Select is Pearl's four-piece shell pack in Scarlet Ash (#847), built on a shell construction upgraded from the boutique-level Masterworks range. The result is a classic shell blend with warm, harmonically rich tone and controlled punch. The qualities that have made the Session series a studio favorite for over 25 years.

Tone and Attack
The thin, 5.4mm Birch/African Mahogany shell blend balances clarity with tonal warmth. The outer 60-degree bearing edge delivers controlled punch with a pre-EQ'd clarity that cuts through a mix without turning harsh or thin.
Construction
Hoops are 2.3mm Triple-Flanged SuperHoop II, paired with Pearl's OptiMount Suspension System so mounted toms can resonate freely without the shell being choked by the mount. RL Lugs are used throughout.
