The Pearl Sensitone Heritage Alloy Steel is a 14"x6.5" snare drum with a beaded steel shell, built for players who want a straightforward, powerful sound that holds up on any stage. It delivers a belting crack with a mild midrange overtone, backed by hardware made for the demands of gig life.
The Sensitone sound is drawn from Pearl's Heritage Alloys, metals chosen to recall the immediate, vital tones of legendary chart-topping recordings with a modern sensibility. The Steel model in the Heritage Alloy line features a 1mm beaded chrome shell that gives the drum its distinctive, focused attack.
The drum is fitted with CL Bridge Lugs for stable tuning, and an SR017 snare strainer for quick, reliable throw-off control. It comes loaded with Remo USA Heads, mounted on 2.3mm Triple-Flanged SuperHoop II hoops, a combination built for durability and clear response.
