Pearl Rainstick 16" - Hidden Spirit (#693)
16" Pearl bamboo rainstick in Hidden Spirit (#693) finish. Hand-crafted effect instrument with impressive sustain and projection.
Product Description
A 16" bamboo rainstick from Pearl, finished in the hand-burned Hidden Spirit (#693) finish. A hand-crafted special effect and ceremonial instrument with impressive projection and sustain, played like a large shaker.
This rainstick is hand crafted and belongs to Pearl's range of special effect and ceremonial instruments. The surface is finished using a hand-burned technique called Rhythm Water, giving each stick its own unique look in the Hidden Spirit (#693) finish.
Sound-wise, the instrument offers impressive projection and sustain, ringing out clearly and for a long time as it's tilted. You play it like a large shaker, slowly angling the stick so the internal material flows through the structure and creates that characteristic rain-like sound.
