Construction and Sound

The thin brass shell gives this snare drum its bright, cutting clarity, with fast response and sensitivity to touch. The new SR505 Triad Silent Strainer is designed for smooth, quiet operation of the snare wires, while the graduated wrap-around cable snares provide even tension across the full width of the snare bed. The Vintage Cut Snare Bed helps maintain consistent snare wire contact for a focused sound.

Hardware

The drum uses Classic Tube Lugs and stainless steel tension rods for long-term durability.
