Pearl MalletStation Electronic Mallet Controller

Product Description

Pearl MalletStation is an electronic mallet controller developed in collaboration with Keith McMillen Instruments. It has 43 silicone keys and a range of 3.0 octaves that can be adjusted, with mallet damping and aftertouch control for expressive playing.

Keys and Feel

Each key measures 1.75" x 5" (4.4 x 12.7 cm). The lowest note and octave shift can be adjusted, making it possible to set the range to suit the piece. The controller is extremely sensitive and gives a natural response when playing.

Control and Connectivity

MalletStation has 3 programmable faders and 4 programmable buttons for controlling parameters while playing. It also has 3 pedal inputs (1/4") for extra control, and all programming is done through a software editor. Connection is via USB 2.0 Type-B, and a Mini-USB port allows you to connect the KMI MIDI Expander (sold separately).

Power and Chassis

The controller is powered via USB Bus Power from a Mac, PC, iPad, iPhone or Android device. When connecting to iOS, an Apple Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter is required, sold separately. The chassis is made of steel but is ultra-thin and light, making MalletStation easy to carry around. It suits all players in all genres, from beginners to professionals.

Not Included

Mounting plates, stands, cases and covers are not included. An X-stand or module mounting solution is also not included.
