The DuoLuxe celebrates 75 years of Pearl drum craft: a chrome-over-brass snare built on the same shell as the classic Jupiter snare, now inlaid with twin bands of Nicotine White Marine Pearl (#405). The dual-beaded shell gives it Pearl's signature look and added rigidity, while the tonality stays expressive and brassy with a punchy attack and smooth overtone.

The shell measures 14"x6.5" and is built from a chrome-over-brass alloy with Pearl's trademark dual inverted shell beads, adding both strength and a distinctive appearance. The twin Nicotine White Marine Pearl (#405) inlay bands give the shell a singular look and also add tonal control compared to the plain metal shell.

Hardware & Construction

The drum is fitted with Pearl's CL Bridge Lugs and a smooth SR017 strainer. The hoops are solid SuperHoop II triple-flanged hoops at 2.3mm, rounding out the package for a classically graceful drumming charisma.

Tonality

The tonality is expressive and brassy, with a punchy attack and smooth overtone. A modern take on the legendary, "inter-planetary" Jupiter snare sound.
