Product Description

The Pearl Demon XR is a bass drum pedal engineered for fast drummers who want maximum speed without sacrificing control. With Direct Drive action, a machined aluminum longboard and NiNjA Bearings, it delivers a fast, smooth stroke right out of the box. The pedal was developed together with extreme drummer George Kollias over a two-year research and development project.

The Demon XR (X-treme Response) is built for speed, rebound and accuracy, and has been technically supervised and tested by George Kollias. Its streamlined machine shop design and fluid Direct Link Drive deliver a faster, smoother stroke, while the exclusive interchangeable high-tension spring makes repeated strokes effortless in the most extreme musical situations.

X-treme Impact Beater (B-350XR)

The main beater shaft is machined aluminum for high impact power. Its smaller impact hammer is a flat synthetic material made especially to achieve a comfortable rebound and increased volume. The pedal ships with two B-350XR beaters.

NiNjA Bearings

Designed for high speed and low friction in skateboard wheels, these bearings feature micro-polished steel balls for incredible smoothness and flawless performance.

Springs and Adjustment

The pedal comes standard with two easily interchangeable springs, an Extreme high-tension spring and a normal spring, for enhanced stroke rebound in high tempo single and double strokes. The Click-Lock prevents the tension knob from loosening no matter how hard you play, and simply flips up for adjustment and re-locks in place.

Z-Link Universal Linkage

The Z-Link Drive Shaft features Pearl's exclusive Zero Latency Universal Joints. Hand-assembled in the USA, it features precision radial ball bearings and fluid framing for zero latency play, allowing a secondary pedal to respond as quickly and precisely as the primary.
