Product Description

Pearl's Decade Maple is a 6-piece maple drum set, ten years in development, built for players ready to step up toward pro-level gear. This set comes in the Ultra Marine Velvet (#207) finish and ships with Pearl's HWP830 hardware pack, so you have everything you need to set up right away.

• 6-ply, 5.4mm 100% maple shells
• 45-degree bearing edge
• Opti-Loc Suspension System
• Triple-flanged hoops (1.6mm steel)
• Remo heads
• Built-in bass drum muffler

Construction and Sound

The shells are built from 6 plies of 5.4mm solid maple with a 45-degree bearing edge, a combination that delivers an open, articulate attack with strong projection. The toms sit in Pearl's Opti-Loc Suspension System, keeping the shell free of stand contact for extended resonance and a fuller tone. The hoops are triple-flanged 1.6mm steel, and the kit ships with Remo heads fitted from the factory. The bass drum includes a built-in muffler for controlled, focused low end.

What's Included

The kit includes a 22x18" bass drum (2218BB), a 10x7" tom (1007T), a 12x8" tom (1208T), a 14x14" floor tom (1414F), a 16x16" floor tom (1616F), and a 14x5.5" snare drum (1455S). Along with the shells, Pearl's HWP830 hardware pack is included, so you won't need to buy stands separately.

Who It's For

Decade Maple suits players who've been at it for a while and want to step up to maple shells and pro-level features like suspension mounts and triple-flanged hoops, without paying flagship prices. A solid choice for the rehearsal room, the studio, or building your first true pro-level setup.
