The Pearl Decade Maple is a complete 5-piece drum set built in 100% maple, the result of ten years of development aimed at bringing pro-level features to a price point that was previously out of reach. This kit comes in the Satin Black Burst (#262) finish and includes a bass drum, two mounted toms, a floor tom and a snare drum, along with Pearl's HWP830 hardware pack.

Construction and Sound

The shells are built from 6 plies of 100% maple at 5.4mm, paired with a 45-degree bearing edge for a clear attack with plenty of resonance. The Opti-Loc Suspension System keeps the mounted toms free from hoop contact with the mounting hardware, letting the shells resonate freely for a longer, more open sustain. The triple-flanged 1.6mm steel hoops help the kit hold its tuning.

Ready to Play

Each drum ships with genuine Remo heads fitted at the factory, and the bass drum includes a built-in muffler for controlled, focused low end straight out of the box. Paired with the included HWP830 hardware pack (stands, pedal and throne), this is a complete kit ready to set up and play.
