Product Description
The Pearl Decade Maple is a 14x5.5" snare drum built with a thin yet powerfully strong maple shell. Thanks to Pearl's SST (Superior Shell Technology), the shell reacts quickly to the stroke, delivering beautifully resonant highs and thundering lows.
The shell is built from 6 plies of maple, 5.4mm thick. Despite being thin, the SST construction gives it a fast, sensitive response combined with a surprisingly big and powerful sound. This combination of quick response and full-bodied tone is what makes the Decade Maple stand out.
Finished in White Satin Pearl for a clean, understated look on stage or in the studio.
