Pearl Championship Pipe Band Medalist Lite 14"x7" - Ultra Blue Fade

Product Description

The Pearl Championship Pipe Band "Medalist Lite" is a 14"x7" marching snare drum finished in Ultra Blue Fade, built to deliver the same professional sound as the standard Medalist series in a smaller, lighter package. A great fit for players who need a lighter, more compact drum without giving up performance.

• 4 ply birch shell with a 2 ply reinforcement ring
• Light weight: 12.19 pounds (5.53 kg)
• Aluminum edge ring for super high tension
• Shiny anodized finished tension posts
• Pearl "Cybermax" Kevlar head, made by Remo

Construction and Sound

The 4 ply birch shell with an added 2 ply reinforcement ring keeps the drum stable and full-sounding while shaving weight off the overall build. The aluminum edge ring is designed for super high tension, which pipe band playing demands for a hard, cutting-through snare response. The shiny anodized tension posts add durability and a clean look.

Head

The drum ships with Pearl's "Cybermax" head, a Kevlar head made by Remo, valued for its durability and clear attack in competition and pipe band settings.

Who It's For

A solid choice for pipe band and marching drummers who want the Championship series' sound and performance in a lighter, more compact drum than the standard Medalist.
