Pearl Fun Drum 9.25"
Pearl Fun Drum, a lightweight 9.25" fiberglass djembe with pre-tuned plastic head. An easy, fun first drum for beginners.
Product Description
The Fun Drum is a lightweight, fiberglass djembe-type drum from Pearl, created with the beginning percussionist in mind. With its pre-tuned plastic head and shoulder strap, it's ready to play straight out of the box.
The fiberglass shell makes the drum considerably lighter than a traditional wood-shell djembe, which makes it easy to carry around the classroom or bring to practice. The 9.25" head comes with a pre-tuned plastic skin, so there's no need to worry about tuning before you start playing.
The Fun Drum is also the centerpiece instrument in the T.R.A.P. educational program, and is widely used in school and beginner percussion teaching.
