Matt McGuire Signature 14"x6.5" - Matte Black
14x6.5" snare drum in 1mm rolled steel, Matt McGuire (The Chainsmokers) signature model. NFC tag unlocks exclusive content.
Product Description
The Pearl 14x6.5" Matt McGuire Signature Snare Drum is the world's first smart snare drum, a Tour Edition model built with Matt McGuire of The Chainsmokers for the arena-filling sound he demands live. A built-in NFC tag unlocks exclusive content from Matt with a simple tap of your phone.
The shell is 1mm Rolled Steel with 30 reinforced 1/3" vents around the bottom edge. This design is meant to enhance snare response by channeling the force of each hit through the 6.5" deep chamber and outward in every direction, like a shock wave.
Finish and Hardware
The powder-coated Matte Black finish tempers the shell's naturally bright tone, while Pearl's durable SuperHoop II 2.3mm hoops and CL Bridge Lugs add weight for increased projection.
Tour Edition Details
This Tour Edition snare carries two additional black and purple badges with Matt's signature under The Chainsmokers logo. The included NFC tag can be applied anywhere on the drum, and a simple tap of any smartphone instantly unlocks exclusive content created by Matt McGuire.
Who It's For
A signature model for drummers who want the sound and feel Matt McGuire uses live with The Chainsmokers, plus a unique connection to the artist through the NFC tag.
