14"x6,5" Pearl Ian Paice Signature Snare Drum
Steel snare drum, Ian Paice Signature model, 14x6.5". Punchy, articulate projection with a biting attack.
Product Description
The Pearl Ian Paice Signature is a 14x6.5" steel snare drum built for the heavy, powerful drumming Ian Paice is known for. The shell delivers volume-heavy presence with bright overtones and a biting, articulate attack.
- Beaded steel shell
- SuperHoop II hoop
- Solid brass tube lugs (TB-65)
- SR017 strainer
Developed with Deep Purple legend Ian Paice, this snare brings classic construction elements together for a volume-heavy, articulate projection rather than a warm or soft tone. The SuperHoop II hoop contributes to tuning stability and a crisp attack, while the solid brass tube lugs give the drum a full fundamental without losing edge in the attack.
Construction
The beaded steel shell is a classic construction choice that delivers strong projection and bite. The SR017 strainer is robust and dependable in demanding playing situations.
Who It's For
A snare for players who hit hard and need a drum that cuts through the mix with a direct, articulate attack. Especially suited for rock and heavier genres where Ian Paice's playing style is a clear influence.
