The Pearl Hybrid Exotic 14x5 Kapur/Fiberglass Snare Drum combines a kapur wood and fiberglass hybrid shell with an Ebony Lacquer finish featuring Pearl Inlay. It's built for drummers who want a distinctive look paired with dependable, slip-free tuning.
The SR1000 Glide-Lock Strainer's locking throw-off lever and tension knob keep the drum locked in tune and free from unwanted slippage during high-impact play. Every Hybrid Exotic snare also uses Pearl's Spin-Tight tension rods, an elegantly simple rod-within-a-rod design that lets the rod expand and lock into place within the swivel nut, helping the batter head hold its tuning tension. Tuning is handled with a special K180 drum key, giving you precise control even under demanding playing conditions.
