Pearl Rope Tuned Djembe 14" - Molten Scarlet

Product Description

Pearl's 14" Rope Tuned Djembe in the vibrant Molten Scarlet finish. Its patented seamless synthetic shell and simulated skin head deliver an authentic djembe tone without the upkeep a natural skin head requires.

Like a traditional djembe, this drum is rope tuned, letting you fine-tune the head tension and shape the tone to your liking. The seamless synthetic shell is a patented Pearl design, built to resist moisture and temperature changes better than a wood shell, while the simulated skin head still delivers the classic djembe voice, from deep bass tones to sharp slap accents.

Part of a Series

This 14" model is part of Pearl's Rope Tuned Djembe series, which also includes 7", 10" and 12" sizes. All sizes are available in two finishes: Zebra Grass (#698) and Molten Scarlet (#699, this model).

Who It's For

Djembes work equally well as a solo instrument or as part of a larger percussion ensemble or drum circle, making this a great choice for players who want a portable, hand-friendly drum with traditional character.

A portion of the sale of each djembe is shared with The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP), an organization that promotes the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in all aspects of everyday life.
