Pearl Rope Tuned Djembe 12" - Zebra Grass

Product Description

A 12" rope tuned djembe from Pearl, built with a seamless synthetic shell in the Zebra Grass finish and a simulated skin head. It produces a wide range of sounds, from deep bass tones to sharp slap tones, making it equally at home as a solo instrument or as part of a larger percussion ensemble or drum circle.

The patented seamless synthetic shell gives the drum better weather resistance and more stable tuning than a traditional wood-shell djembe. Rope tuning lets you adjust head tension, and with it the tonal character, to suit your playing.

Series and finishes

This 12" model is part of Pearl's Rope Tuned Djembe series, which also includes 7", 10" and 14" sizes. The series is available in two finishes, Zebra Grass and Molten Scarlet, both featuring a simulated skin head for a natural look and consistent tone from drum to drum.

Who it's for

A good choice if you want a djembe that holds up well across different playing environments, from rehearsal spaces to outdoor sessions, without losing tuning as easily as a natural-skin drum can.

Pearl shares a portion of the sale of each djembe with The Rhythmic Arts Project (TRAP), which promotes the inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in everyday life.
