Product Description
The PDX-8 is Roland's mesh-head pad with an 8-inch mesh head and an expanded 10-inch rim. Its new construction is completely free of hot spots and provides separate triggers for head and rim, making rim shots noticeably more comfortable and quieter than on older pads.
Thanks to the separate triggers for the mesh head and the expanded rim, the difference between a head hit and a rim hit is clearly distinguishable, both in feel and in the sound produced through a drum module. The larger 10-inch rim makes it more comfortable to play rim shots and rim clicks without feeling harsh or stiff.
