PDX-6 Roland V-Pads
Product Description
The PDX-6 is Roland's smallest V-Pad, originally designed as a tom pad for the TD-4KX kit. It has a 6.5" mesh head for quiet, natural rebound, plus an expanded 8" rim with its own separate trigger for rim shots. The construction is built to avoid a “hot spot”, meaning uneven sensitivity across the playing surface.

Thanks to its dual triggers, one under the mesh head and one on the rim, you can play head and rim with separate sound and feel, much like on an acoustic tom. That makes the PDX-6 a good choice if you're building a compact electronic kit or want to add a small tom pad to a module without it taking up much space.
Who It's For
Good for players who want a small, quiet tom pad with good dynamics between head and rim, for example in an apartment or rehearsal room where volume matters.
