Product Description
The Dixon PDSCST654AL is a 14x6.5" snare drum with a 1.2mm aluminum shell finished in satin natural. It comes fitted with an Evans Uno Coated batter head and a standard clear resonant head, along with Dixon's own Flip-Drop style snare throw-off for quick, secure engagement. A dependable snare for players who want a bright aluminum tone and a clean, understated look.
The 1.2mm aluminum shell gives the drum a bright, cutting character with good response. The satin natural shell finish keeps things clean and understated, and the 2.3mm triple-flanged hoops match the chrome hardware finish used throughout. It all adds up to a tidy, well-specced drum.
The throw-off is Dixon's own Flip-Drop style, built for fast, reliable engagement of the snare wires, while the butt end on the opposite side is a standard type. A free Drummer's Pouch is included with every drum.
