PDP LTD Maple Dry 8"x12"
PDP LTD Maple Dry snare, 8x12" all-maple with extended inlay ring for a dry, immediate attack.
Product Description
The PDP LTD Maple Dry is an 8x12" snare with a 10-ply all-maple shell, built for a dry, crispy sound with limited resonance. It works equally well as a side snare or as a primary choice on a compact kit.
- 10-ply European maple shell for balanced attack and tone
- Powerstroke-style Remo batter head with an extended inlay ring that controls sustain
- Dual-turret lugs
- DW MAG throw-off
- True Pitch tension rods
The extended inlay ring on the batter head shortens the decay, giving the drum a dry, crispy finish that's perfect for live applications, including as a desired effect alongside another snare on the kit. Swap the batter head for a more traditional, rounded "popcorn" snare sound whenever you want, showing off the versatility this compact drum offers.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want a distinctive-sounding second snare to complement your main one, or a compact primary snare with real character.
