PDP Concept Maple Tom, 8x10''

Product Description

8x10" tom from PDP Concept Maple, built with a 7-ply European Maple shell. Designed by DW in California, the Concept Series brings a boutique-inspired sound and look, with high-end features that get it ready to play right out of the box.

• 7-ply European Maple shell
• DW's patented Suspension Tom Mount (STM) reduces tension on the shell and increases sustain
• True Pitch tension rods with 20% more threads for enhanced tuning control
• Retro-inspired dual-turret lugs
• Fitted with Remo drumheads

Shell and Tone

The 7-ply European Maple shell gives Concept Maple its signature open, resonant tone. DW's Suspension Tom Mount system keeps the drum floating freely, taking tension off the shell so it can resonate more fully, for increased sustain.

Tuning and Hardware

True Pitch tension rods feature 20% more threads than standard rods, giving finer control and a more precise feel with every turn. The drum is fitted with retro-inspired dual-turret lugs, matching the series' overall design language.

Who It's For

A good choice if you're building a custom kit and want to add toms or bass drums to suit your style, or if you're completing an existing setup with a tom from the same series.
