Product Description

The PDP Concept Maple is an 8x10" tom with a European Maple shell, designed by DW in California to deliver a fresh, boutique-inspired sound. Its Suspension Tom Mount lets the shell ring freely without hardware choking the tone, and it comes fitted with Remo heads so it's ready to play right out of the box.

The shell is built from 7 plies of European Maple, giving Concept Series drums their bright, open character. The tom uses DW's patented Suspension Tom Mount (STM) system, which reduces pressure on the shell and increases sustain compared to a traditionally mounted tom.

Tuning and Hardware

Tuning is handled by DW's True Pitch tension rods, featuring 20% more threads than standard rods for finer tuning control. The lugs are retro-inspired dual-turret lugs, which add both visual character and resonance. Each drum ships fitted with Remo heads, ready to play immediately.
