Product Description

This PDP Concept Maple rack tom, 7x8", is built from a 7-ply European Maple shell. Designed by DW in California, it pairs an open, resonant shell with DW's own tom mounting system for longer sustain and reduced tension against the shell.

Shell and Hardware

The 7-ply European Maple shell gives the Concept Maple series its open, resonant character. The tom is mounted using DW's patented Suspension Tom Mount system (STM), which reduces tension and pressure against the shell, increasing sustain compared to a conventionally bolted mount.

Tuning

The True Pitch tension rods feature 20% more threads than conventional rods, giving finer tuning control and a more consistent feel across the drum. The retro-inspired dual-turret lugs complete the series' classic look.

Heads

The drum ships fitted with Remo heads, so it's ready to play right out of the box.
