Product Description
The PDP Concept Maple is a 7x8" rack tom from PDP's Concept series, designed by DW in California. Its 7-ply European Maple shell delivers a warm, resonant tone, built with the same high-end hardware found on DW's own drums.

Construction and hardware
The 7-ply European Maple shell is at the heart of the Concept series' sound, a tone that's had drummers talking. DW's patented Suspension Tom Mount system (STM) keeps the tom floating free of the shell, reducing unwanted tension and increasing sustain compared to traditional rigid mounting.
Tuning is handled by DW's True Pitch tension rods, featuring 20% more threads than standard for finer, more stable tuning control. The retro-inspired dual-turret lugs round out the classic look. Every drum ships fitted with Remo heads, so it's ready to play right out of the box.
