Product Description

The PDP Concept Maple floor tom, 16x18", is built with a 7-ply European Maple shell designed by DW in California, delivering a fresh look and a sound that has drummers talking. With retro-inspired dual-turret lugs, DW's True Pitch tension rods, and Remo drum heads, it's a reliable and affordable tom for building a custom kit.

PDP's Concept Series reimagines boutique-inspired drums for every drummer. The series offers many of today's most popular configurations, and you can add more toms or bass drums to build a custom kit to suit your musical style.

Construction

The shell is built from 7 plies of European Maple, giving a warm and full fundamental tone. The lugs are of the dual-turret type with a retro look that stands out visually, while DW's True Pitch tension rods help keep the drum in tune.

Hardware

The tom stands on steel legs with non-slip rubber feet, providing a stable base on any floor or stage surface. It ships fitted with world-famous Remo drum heads, ready to play out of the box.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want to build or expand your own drum kit with a floor tom that delivers high-end features without the high-end price.
