PDP Concept Maple Floor Tom, 16x18''

Product Description

The PDP Concept Maple floor tom, 16x18", features a 7-ply European Maple shell built to deliver a warm, full tone with clear projection. Designed by DW in California, the Concept Series brings boutique-inspired details to a maple drum built for a wide range of playing styles.

• 7-ply European Maple shell
• Retro-inspired dual-turret lugs
• DW True Pitch tension rods for smooth, stable tuning
• Steel legs with non-slip rubber feet
• Remo drum heads

Construction and Sound

The 7-ply European Maple shell gives this floor tom a warm, round fundamental with the resonance drummers expect from a maple shell. The retro-inspired dual-turret lugs, drawn from DW's own design language, add both looks and a solid connection between shell and hoop. DW's True Pitch tension rods make it easier to find and hold consistent tuning around the head.

Hardware and Heads

The floor tom stands on steel legs fitted with non-slip rubber feet, giving it a stable, quiet footing on stage or in the rehearsal room. It ships with Remo drum heads, a familiar choice for many drummers in terms of both feel and tone.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you're building a maple kit from the ground up, or adding a matching floor tom to an existing Concept Maple setup.
