Product Description

The PDP Concept Maple is a 14x16" floor tom with a 7-ply European Maple shell, designed by DW in California. It pairs a warm, full tone with higher-end hardware, making it a great option for drummers looking to upgrade beyond entry-level kits without stepping up to DW's premium lines.

• 7-ply European Maple shell
• Retro-inspired dual-turret lugs
• DW True Pitch tension rods
• Steel legs with non-slip rubber feet
• Remo drum heads

Shell and Hardware

The shell is built from 7 plies of European Maple, a tonewood known for its warm, full sound with solid low end. Tuning is handled by DW's True Pitch tension rods, praised for holding tune well and making retuning smooth. The lugs are dual-turret, a retro-inspired design that's part of the Concept Series' signature look.

Setup

The floor tom stands on steel legs fitted with non-slip rubber feet, giving it a stable footing on stage or in the rehearsal room.

Drum Heads

It ships with Remo drum heads, a brand well known among drummers for consistent quality and reliable tone.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you want to build or expand a kit of loose drums in a higher quality tier, without the price tag of DW's flagship lines.
