PDP Concept Maple Floor Tom, 12x14''

Product Description

The PDP Concept Maple floor tom is a 12x14" drum built around a 7-ply European Maple shell, designed by DW in California. Retro-inspired dual-turret lugs, True Pitch tension rods, and Remo drum heads give it a classic look and a sound drummers have been talking about.

• 7-ply European Maple shell
• Retro-inspired dual-turret lugs
• DW True Pitch tension rods for even, stable tuning
• Steel legs with non-slip rubber feet
• Remo drum heads fitted from the factory

Construction and Sound

The 7-ply European Maple shell gives this floor tom a warm, full-bodied fundamental tone typical of maple. The retro-inspired dual-turret lugs are a signature feature of the Concept Series and their lightweight design also contributes to shell resonance. DW's True Pitch tension rods are designed to hold their tuning and make it easier to tune the drum evenly all the way around.

Setup

The floor tom stands on steel legs with non-slip rubber feet, giving it a stable and quiet footing on stage or in the rehearsal room.

Who It's For

A great choice if you're building your own Concept Maple kit or adding a floor tom that matches an existing set in both look and sound.
