Sound Character

Concept Exotic toms are built to fill the room with extraordinary warmth and projection. The maple shell combined with DW's Suspension Tom Mounts lets the shell resonate freely, giving an open, ringing tone. The tom works well as a standalone add-on and can be paired with other Concept Exotic sizes to adapt the kit's voicing to a wide variety of musical styles.

Construction

The shell is built from 7 plies of maple and wrapped in an exotic outer walnut veneer, the same shell construction found across the Concept Maple family. Dual-turret lugs and DW True Pitch tension rods are shared with the rest of the Concept Series, and the tom ships with Remo's world-renowned drum heads already mounted.
