Construction

The shell is built from 7 plies of European Maple, giving a punchy attack while keeping the tone warm and versatile. The counter hoops are made from the same European Maple, tying the tonal character of shell and hoops together.

Hardware

The vintage-style claw hooks are low-mass, reducing tension against the shell compared to traditional claw hooks and helping preserve the shell's natural resonance. The Dual-Turret lugs give the drum a modern look while keeping the vintage aesthetic intact. DW's True-Pitch tuning rods offer 20% additional threads per square inch compared to conventional rods, for finer tuning control.

Heads

The drum ships fitted with Remo drum heads.
