PDP Concept Black Wax 7"x13" - Black Wax
PDP snare drum, 7x13", 10-ply maple shell with hand-applied wax finish. Warm tone, full attack.
Product Description
The PDP Concept Black Wax is a 7x13" snare drum with a 10-ply European Maple shell and a hand-applied, wax-based sealer in a dark, smooth matte finish. The shell produces mid-range pitch with full attack and warm tone, while the wax sealant shows off the understated beauty of the maple grain.
Like all Concept Series snare drums, the Black Wax Snare is outfitted with PDP's dual-turret lugs and DW's MAG throw-off and True Pitch tension rods for precise, stable tuning. The snare wires are fully chromed, with carbon steel coils and brass end plates.
Tone and Construction
The 10-ply maple shell combined with the wax-based sealer gives this snare a dark, warm tone with mid-range pitch and full attack. It comes fitted with world-class drum heads from Remo, making it ready to play right out of the box.
Who It's For
A great choice if you want a snare with a warm, full character and stable tuning, wrapped in a subtle, understated finish.
