• Hand-applied, wax-based sealer in a matte Black Wax finish that highlights the maple grain
• DW MAG Throw-Off and DW True Pitch tension rods for precise, stable tuning
• PDP dual-turret lugs
• Fully-chromed snare wires with carbon steel coils and brass end plates
• Ships with Remo drumheads, ready to play right out of the box

Tone and Construction

The 10-ply maple shell delivers a warm, mid-range tone with full attack. The wax-based sealer is applied by hand, giving the shell a smooth matte finish while letting the natural maple grain show through rather than covering it under a glossy lacquer.

Hardware and Tuning

Like every drum in the Concept Series, this snare is outfitted with PDP's dual-turret lugs along with DW's MAG throw-off and True Pitch tension rods, giving you precise and stable tuning. The snare wires are fully chromed, with carbon steel coils and brass end plates.

Who It's For

A great choice if you want a snare with a warm, mid-range voice and a subtle, matte finish, ready to play right away thanks to the included Remo drumheads.
