PDP Concept 5.5x13" - Black Wax
PDP Concept snare drum, 5.5x13" maple shell with hand-applied wax finish. Warm tone, full attack.
Product Description
The PDP Concept Black Wax is a snare drum in 5.5x13" featuring a 10-ply European Maple shell. A hand-applied, wax-based sealer gives it a dark, smooth, matte finish while still showing off the Maple grain. The result is a mid-range pitch with full attack and a warm tone.
Like all Concept Series snares, the Black Wax is outfitted with PDP's dual-turret lugs along with DW's MAG throw-off and True Pitch tension rods for precise, stable tuning. World-class drum heads from Remo make it ready to play right out of the box.
- 10-ply Maple shell
- Hand-applied, wax-based sealer (Black Wax)
- MAG throw-off
- True Pitch tension rods
- Fully-chromed snare wires with carbon steel coils and brass end plates
