PDP Concept 20-Ply Maple snare, 5.5x14". Punchy attack and a full, throaty rimshot.
Product Description
The PDP Concept 20-Ply Maple Snare is a 5.5x14" snare built from a fat, 20-ply maple shell paired with thick, maple-plied hoops. Together they give this drum a higher pitch, punchy attack, and a full, throaty rimshot that sets it apart from the average snare.
- 20-ply maple shell for higher pitch, punchy attack, and musical tone
- Thick maple-plied counterhoops for a full, throaty rimshot
- Elegant natural satin finish
- PDP's dual-turret lugs
- Innovative DW MAG throw-off
- True Pitch tension rods
- World-class drum heads from Remo
Snare Wires
The snare wires are fully chromed, built with carbon steel coils and brass end plates for exceptional texture and control over the snare response. Combined with the thick maple hoops and shell, this drum delivers a bold, distinctive character.
Who It's For
A great addition for drummers who already have a standard snare and want a drum with real personality on the kit. Higher pitch, punch, and a rimshot that cuts through the mix.
