PDP CENTERstage 5pc 22"

Product Description

The PDP CENTERstage is a complete 5-piece drum set built around a 22" bass drum, made from poplar for a balanced tone with a warm low end. Designed as the perfect starting point for the aspiring drummer, it ships with cymbals, a full hardware pack, a throne and sticks. Everything needed to sit down and start playing.

• Multi-ply 100% poplar shells for balanced tone and warm low end
• DW True-Pitch tension rods on snare and toms, with 20% more threads per square inch for more precise and stable tuning
• Telescoping bass drum spurs that prevent "creep" during intense practice sessions
• Cymbal pack with 13" hi-hats and a 15" crash/ride in brass
• Full hardware pack, throne and sticks included

Construction and Tone

The poplar shells give the set a balanced tone with a warm low end, making it easy to play right out of the box. The True-Pitch tension rods on the snare and toms have more threads per square inch than standard rods, offering more precise and stable tuning. Helpful while you're still learning to tune a kit. The bass drum's telescoping spurs keep the drum in place even during harder playing.

What's Included

The set includes 7x10" and 8x12" mounted toms, a 14x16" floor tom, a 16x22" bass drum and a 5x14" snare drum. It's completed by a cymbal pack with 13" hi-hats and a 15" crash/ride in brass, a full hardware pack (kick drum pedal, hi-hat stand, cymbal stand and snare stand), a throne and sticks.

Who It's For

A solid choice if you're putting together your first drum kit and want to avoid buying cymbals, hardware and a throne separately.
