PDP Concept Maple Finish Ply - Satin Seafoam

Product Description

Shell pack from PDP by DW in the Concept Maple Finish Ply series, in Satin Seafoam finish. A complete set with bass drum, rack tom and floor tom built in European maple, carrying the same quality approach as parent company DW. Delivered as a shell pack, meaning hardware and cymbals are not included.

PDP by DW was founded in 2000 to offer drummers ready-made, well thought-out drum combinations, unlike DW's own lines which are often built up piece by piece by the drummer. This set gives you the same quality thinking in a complete, affordable package.

Construction

The shells are built in European maple with 7 plies, giving a solid foundation for the sound. The toms hang using the STM Tom Mount, a suspension system that keeps the shell free from unnecessary pressure for better resonance. Tuning is handled by True Pitch tension rods, and the bass drum is fitted with Die Cast claws for stable mounting.

Heads and snare mechanism

The set comes fitted with Remo heads from the factory, giving a reliable sound right out of the box. The snare drum in the set is equipped with a DW MAG snare throw-off for smooth switching between snare and tom mode.

Who It's For

A good choice if you want a complete, well-built drum set without assembling shells, hardware and heads yourself. At a price that leaves room to add your own hardware and cymbals.
