Meinl Cajon Snare Tap, 10 3/4" with built-in pickup and volume knob. Adds a crisp snare sound, played by hand or rods.
Product Description
The Meinl Pickup Cajon Snare Tap is a small, hollow wooden accessory that adds a crisp snare drum sound to your cajon setup. A built-in pickup and side-mounted volume knob let you amplify the sound when needed, and the tap mounts easily with a standard eye bolt onto your cajon or percussion rig.
- Snapping, snare-like sound from a light tap with your hands or bundle sticks
- Built-in pickup with a quarter-inch output jack for extra amplification
- Side-mounted volume knob for quick adjustment
- Standard eye bolt mount for easy setup on a cajon or percussion rig
- Ideal for acoustic shows in smaller rooms
Sound and use
Tap it with your hands or bundle sticks and you'll get a crisp, snare-like snap. It works great as a natural acoustic voice on its own, but thanks to the pickup and quarter-inch output you can also plug into an amp or PA when you need more volume.
