Meinl Wood Shaker Pandeiro Napa 10" - Black
10" Wood Shaker Pandeiro in poplar frame from Meinl, with replaceable Napa head. Delivers distinct shaker accents and a warm, soft tone.
Product Description
Meinl's Wood Shaker Pandeiro 10" puts a twist on the traditional pandeiro: instead of the usual jingles, it features round shaker pods. Metal discs filled with shaker material. Built into the frame. The result is distinct, articulate shaker accents in place of the classic jingle sound.
The frame is 10" poplar, fitted with a synthetic Napa head that gives a warmer, softer sound and a lower tone than a traditional skin head. The head is replaceable and mounted with countersunk bolt lugs, keeping the rim smooth and comfortable to hold and play against.
The shaker pods let you weave in rattling, percussive accents right inside a pandeiro groove. A fun way to add an extra rhythmic layer to your hand percussion playing. It's played handheld, just like a standard pandeiro.
