14"/18" Paiste PST 5 N Essential Set Cymbal
Paiste PST 5 cymbal pack with a 14" hi-hat and 18" crash/ride in CuSn8 bronze. Clear, energetic sound for any style.
Product Description
The Paiste PST 5 Essential Set is a cymbal pack featuring a 14" hi-hat and an 18" crash/ride, made from CuSn8 Bronze. The same alloy recipe (also known as "2002 bronze") used in Paiste's higher-end series, here in a simpler build at a great price. The sound is clear, pure and open with a distinct tone, and these cymbals work across all styles of music and volume levels, including live use.
Sound and Feel
The sound is energetic with a fairly defined attack and a lively intensity that helps the cymbals cut through. Thickness is medium heavy and the volume range spans from medium low to very loud, giving them a wide range of use. From quieter passages to full-on stage playing. Both the hi-hat and the crash/ride have an integrated bell.
Who It's For
A good choice if you want musical, energetic all-around cymbals without a big price tag. Equally at home in the rehearsal room or on stage, whatever the genre.
