Product Description
Nylon washers from Tama (PW620) placed between the tension rod and the hoop to protect the hoop from scratches and wear during tuning. Fit standard tension rods and come in a 20-pack.
Made from black nylon, the washers measure approx. 11 mm in diameter, with a 6 mm hole and a thickness of 2.5 mm. The nylon is softer than the hoop's metal, so the washer absorbs the friction instead of letting the tension rod bite into the surface every time you tune the drum. It's a simple, inexpensive way to keep your hoops looking fresh and free of scratches over time, especially if you tune often or play a lot. Since they come in a bag of 20, one bag is plenty for a whole kit with several drums.
